The Division of Science and Research is accepting proposals from faculty at Primarily Undergraduate Institutions (PUI) and Community and Technical Colleges (CTC) to foster stronger research collaboration among the state’s institutions of higher education within the themes of bionanotechnology, cell biology and biotechnology. Two grants of up to $50,000 per year for two years may be awarded to qualifying faculty at eligible institutions.
Supported by the state’s Research Infrastructure Improvement Grant (RII), awards in this program will be based on collaborative potential, extramural funding potential, match with the RII technical and education goals and quality of the research and education plan, among others.
Proposals are due April 22, 2013. Learn more at the PUI/CTC Research Incubator Grants Program announcement (pdf).
