GRANTED is a National Science Foundation (NSF) program that focuses on addressing systemic barriers within the nation’s research enterprise by improving research support and service capacity. It is a whole-of-NSF approach that will transform NSF and the science and engineering community to develop the collective knowledge, skills, talents and desire to serve within the nation’s science and engineering enterprise.

The West Virginia GRANTED project held regional meetings prior to a statewide convening in May 2024. STEM grant administration personnel and faculty from colleges in the region were brought together to identify barriers to proposal submission and post-award grant administration.
