Amanda Ramey is responsible for developing and implementing all communication activities that promote the Division’s state and federal programs. In this role, she serves as managing editor of the Neuron, a quarterly science publication. She also writes articles, speeches, electronic presentations, advertising copy, website content, brochures and other publications. She works with local, state and national media, manages the Division’s social media efforts, organizes special events and continually evaluates communications and outreach initiatives for the Division.
Ms. Ramey joined the Division of Science and Research in 2013. She has over ten years experience in public relations, communications, marketing and business development – gained through industrial, non-profit and professional service sectors. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from Marshall University.
