Shepherd University’s Agricultural Innovation Center at Tabler Farm is looking for volunteers to help plant a native food forest on Saturday, October 8, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

A food forest is intentionally planted with species that have edible components to humans. The forest at Tabler Farm only contains trees native to the Appalachian region.

Volunteers will receive a tour of the farm, help plant the trees, and have an opportunity to socialize around a campfire afterward.

To sign up, visit the RamPulse tree planting event page.
