The statewide finals, the final round of the West Virginia Bridge Design and Build Contest (formerly the West Point Bridge Design Contest and the West Virginia Bridge Design Contest), will take place from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, May 21, on Marshall University’s Huntington campus.

The event is a web-based contest that provides middle school and high school students with a realistic, engaging introduction to engineering.
